The Great Cover-Up curates some of the more interesting cover songs from the ’80s and early ’90s. This episode is all about The Rolling Stones, featuring 17 covers of their tunes, including three very different versions of “Paint It Black”, one of which comes from Band of Susans (pictured above). Plus, a few no-wave / experimental bands — Shockabilly, Y Pants, The Residents — take turns deconstructing Classic Rock. Not sure (that I care) what Mick & Keith would think of this affair.
