Focusing on several of the bigger indie record labels (Homestead, SST, Twin/Tone, Fountain of Youth, Touch & Go) of that era, we’ll hear from West Coast acts like The Leaving Trains, Flipper, and Angst; Midwestern groups Breaking Circus, Squirrel Bait, Hüsker Dü, The Embarrassment, and Naked Raygun (pictured); Southwestern bands Scratch Acid, Butthole Surfers, Big Boys, and Meat Puppets; and East Coast groups Dumptruck, Volcano Suns, Sonic Youth, Government Issue, and Live Skull. All selections are from 1983-1986.
